We printed up soccer jerseys. We cooked hotdogs. We postponed.

Things didn't go as we planned, but it's a start. The original idea was to have a soccer tournament for the guys and a volleyball tournament for the girls up around the new Porvenir library. They didn't believe that we would actually provide prizes for the winners and hotdogs for all, though, so many didn't show up at the scheduled time. They played volleyball for fun, we went ahead and served the dogs, won a little trust, and rescheduled the soccer tournament for the following night. Four teams showed up, and we played sudden death, first to four games. It was a relatively short tournament, but they know us now and the next one should be even better. The prize shirts were a big hit. We still have to the put on the volleyball tournament sometime soon.
